WELCOME
"Support for families of autistic children through music-therapy, sensory support and parent guidance"
About me
My name is Paola Lazo
My name is Paola Lazo, and I am a music therapist and family therapist specialized in supporting autistic children and their families through a compassionate, holistic, and neurodiversity-affirming approach.
For many years, I have worked closely with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developmental differences, sensory processing challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, and communication needs, accompanying families through different stages of their journey with empathy, respect, and practical support.
My professional approach integrates:
- Clinical Music Therapy
- Emotional and Family Support
- Sensory Integration Strategies
- Therapeutic Play
- Visual and Structured Supports
- Parent Guidance and Education
I deeply believe that every child communicates in their own unique way, and that families deserve understanding, guidance, and emotional support without judgment.
Through AutismoKids, my goal is to create a safe and supportive space where families can access therapeutic resources, consultations, educational materials, and practical tools that help improve daily life and strengthen connection with their children.
My work has an international perspective, supporting both Spanish-speaking and English-speaking families from different cultural backgrounds through online guidance, therapeutic resources, and educational projects focused on autism and child development.
AutismoKids was born from the desire to combine professional knowledge with genuine human connection, offering families not only information, but also accompaniment, hope, and practical support.
